MTCB Replacement

Prerequisites

Overview

Procedure

  1. Raise the table to maximum height.
  2. Remove gantry covers as required.

    Refer to Parts Replacement > Gantry > Enclosure > (Cover Removal Procedure).

    • POTENTIAL FOR SHOCK.
    • VOLTAGE MAY BE PRESENT.
    • USE PROPER LOCKOUT/TAGOUT PROCEDURES BEFORE REPLACING COMPONENTS.
  3. Remove power from table by turning off HVDC Enable, Axial Enable, and 120VAC switches on Service Switch Panel inside gantry.
  4. Remove right Table Base Cover.
  5. Remove the two screws holding MTCB Cover in place.
  6. Insert new MTCB, reassemble and power on Table.

Finalization

  1. Ensure that proper torque specifications (see Torque Wrench Information) are followed for all fasteners.
  2. Power up the Table from the Service Switch Panel.
  3. Perform Flash Download, if prompted to do so.
  4. Perform Table Characterization Procedures.
