Removing the dockable table bore-end cradle cover

Removes the bore-end cover from the dockable table cradle.

Safety

Before working in any GE Healthcare MR suite or performing any GE Healthcare service procedure, you must:

  • Have read and understood all hazard conditions and safety requirements in the latest revision of the GE Healthcare MR Service Safety Manual (5452735).
  • Have successfully completed all relevant GE Healthcare Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) courses (or for non-GE employees, equivalent workplace training courses).
  • Comply with all site-specific training and workplace safety requirements.

If you have any safety concerns at any time, do not begin work or immediately stop work and move to a safe location. Immediately contact your supervisor or site safety officer for instructions on how to proceed.

Procedure

  1. Undock the table and move it away from the magnet.
  2. Press and hold the dock pedal to override the primary latch and push the cradle approximately 80 mm off the tabletop surface.
  3. Push and hold the rod button and pull the cradle approximately 150 mm off the tabletop surface to expose the screws on the sides of the bore-end cradle cover.

  4. Remove the four screws securing the bore-end cradle cover to the cradle.

  5. Lift the cover away from the cradle.
  6. Remove the four screws securing each P-port to the cover.

  7. Remove the two screws securing the microphone to the cover.
  8. Remove the cover from the cradle.
