Removing the cradle hardtop cover

Removes the hardtop cover from the patient cradle.

Procedure

  1. Move the cradle to the home position.
  2. Note: Left and right slide rails are unique parts. Note the original position of each slide rail for reinstallation. The thick line is at the handle end of the slide rail.
    Remove slide rails by sliding them into the bore of the magnet.

  3. Remove table insert, if present.
  4. Remove the cradle hardtop cover by pulling up the bore end slightly and sliding the cover towards the bore.
  5. Move the cradle to the in-limit position.
    Note: By moving the cradle to the in-limit position, the cradle can move freely from home position to in-limit after the cradle is released.
  6. Release the cradle using the egress handle.
