About this task

The Ping button tests for DICOM ping based on the way the network node is configured. For example, if nodes were configured for DICOM over TLS, then the ping test covers all of the checks needed to ensure TLS handshaking as well as standard DICOM networking checks.

Procedure

  1. On the Configure Network Hosts window, select the node you want to ping from the Configured Hosts list.
  2. Click Ping.
  3. Click OK to the message prompt. If the DICOM ping is successful, that means the DICOM configuration was successful.
Note: If a failure occurs, read the prompt to help determine the cause of the failure.
