Procedure
Notice
Potential equipment damage
The hook can become overstressed and bend, requiring replacement.
Do not attempt to fully engage the dock pedal if the force needed is too strong.
Notice
Potential equipment damage
The ODU connector pins may become bent, requiring table cable replacement.
Do not electrically dock the table prior to the table being properly aligned.
Dock the patient table using the DOCK pedal, paying close attention to the force required to engage the docking mechanism. Initial docking should not require significant force to depress the dock pedal.

Note the following dock pedal conditions:
When depressing the dock pedal, if the force needed was other than a firm connection at the bottom of the pedal stroke, one of two conditions below are in effect and action is required:
Too loose - Minimal or no force at all was needed to reach the bottom of the stroke.
Too tight - Considerable to significant force was needed to reach the bottom of the stroke resulting in a hard, strong snap at the end.
Undock the table.
Loosen the dock hook set screw.

Loosen the lock nut at the rear of the dock hook.
Turn the hook clockwise to increase tension and counterclockwise to decrease tension.
Note: Count the number of turns for the Installation and Calibration Wizard (ICW). Enter the number of turns in ICW as a positive number if the hook is tightened and a negative number if the hook was loosened.
Note: One full turn is equal to 1/16 inch.
Tighten the lock nut.
Repeat Step 1 through Step 7 until a firm connection of the hook is achieved when docking the patient table.
Tighten the set screw.
Record the number of full turns of the dock hook in ICW.
