Procedure

  1. Dock the table.
  2. Move the cradle 100 mm away from the cradle stopper.
Note: The cradle will be off the flipper and in the up position.
  3. Measure gap A.

    3Gap B
  4. If gap A is less than 0.79 mm or greater than 1.59 mm, adjust the gap as follows:
Note: For small adjustments, use the set screws to adjust the angle between the link and the bracket and do not use the below steps.

    1. Undock the table.
    2. Loosen the lock nut.

    3. Turn the down link rod until gap A is between 0.8 and 1.6 mm.
    4. Tighten the lock nut.
    5. Repeat the measurement and adjustment until the gap is within tolerance.
  5. Push the link lever in Figure 1 down and let go slowly. Do this step multiple times until the link is in a stable low position.
  6. Measure gap B.
  7. If gap B is less than 3.18 mm or greater than 6.35 mm, adjust the gap as follows:
    1. Loosen the lock nut.

      2Fine adjustment
      3Coarse adjustment
    2. Adjust the fine adjustment nut until the gap is between 3.18 and 6.35 mm.
Note: If the fine adjustment nut does not provide enough range, coarse adjustment may be made to the length of the cable where the cable end is clamped into the actuator bracket. Fine adjustment will be required after doing a coarse adjustment.
Note: The cable wraps twice through the clamp hole.
    3. Tighten the lock nut.
    4. Repeat the measurement and adjustment until the gap is within tolerance.
  8. Dock the table and position the cradle with the bore end of the cradle flush with the front end of the front bridge.
Note: The cradle should not overhang the front bridge.
  9. Make sure the table top does not lower when the down pedal is depressed.
  10. Make sure the table does not mechanically undock when the undock pedal is depressed.
  11. Repeat the adjustment if the table fails the interlock checks.
