Strong Magnetic Field!
Ferrous materials can become dangerous projectiles in the presence of the magnetic field Produced by the Signa Magnet.
Do not Bring any ferromagnetic tools or equipment into the magnet room.

Lifting Mr parts, such as frus, toolkits and parts of the system without assistance (mechanical or additional personnel), can result in personal injury.
the use of extra personnel IS recommended to lift an object weighing more than 35 pounds AND less than 50 pounds, BUT required for objects weighing more than 50 pounds. the use of mechanical lift assistance devices IS required for objects weighing more than 90 pounds.

This procedure is applicable to the following table products:

The cradle removal procedure requires:

One person for a Signa Lightweight Patient Transport Table
Two people for a Signa Oncology or Signa OR-Compatible Patient Transport Table Option

Undock the patient table.
Lock the patient table in place. Verify that the wheels are locked.
Person 1 and person 2 should perform these tasks simultaneously.
1. Person 1: Standing at the foot end of the table, depress the dock pedal to lower the cradle latch block (B).
2. Person 2: Standing at the head end of the table, at the same time, manually rotate the transfer board cradle release lever (A) and push in the cradle release button (C).
3. Person 2: Raise the cradle about 3 to 4 inches.

While doing the tasks in step 3, slide the cradle forward enough so that the cradle covers the top area of the cradle latch block. See the following illustration. Release the dock pedal to release the cradle latch block. Release the cradle button and cradle release lever.

Pinched Fingers
Forward movement of the cradle can pinch your finger while holding down cradle latch block.
Move the cradle forward slowly and deliberately until the bottom edge of the cradle sufficiently covers the top of the cradle latch block, where you can remove your finger from the block.
