Procedure
- Abort - button is used to stop data acquisition before it has completed. When selected, a message displays requesting you to press the Stop Scan key on the keyboard. After both are selected, the tool performs several cleanup steps. The Scan button becomes active when the tool is ready to continue the calibration.
- Exit - button is used to write out the log file and close the calibration window. The tool will not allow you to exit if calibration parameter values are not confirmed. That is, calibration parameter values may not be updated without confirming them (collecting the corresponding data curves). If the Exit button is selected when calibration parameters have been updated and not confirmed, you are given a choice to go back to the last confirmed calibration values, or to return and collect the missing data. If the first option is chosen, the last accepted values that were confirmed are downloaded to the calibration files and the calibration window closes. If the second option is chosen, the Manual Mode displays with the unverified components selected. Select the Scan button to start the data acquisition (and do not accept the fits).
