Clean Dust Filter / Dust Filter Replacement

Prerequisites

1 Clean Dust Filter / Dust Filter Replacement

(For Simple OC with THTF M180)

Procedure

  1. Shutdown the system software and Lockout/Tagout the power to the Simple OC before beginning the replacement.
  2. Wear the static electricity prevention band to the wrist.
  3. Spread the static electricity prevention sheet for replacement
  4. Loosen the four screws that is fixing the bracket on the PC rear panel and take the bracket away.
    note:

    A seal might be attached at the PC rear panel which describes "Warranty void if this seal removed". Please do not care about description of the label and remove it for panel removal.

  5. Remove the left panel of the PC by unscrewing the two screws located on the back of the PC..

  6. Remove the front cover (Show in Figure 2 and Figure 3) and take away the bracket.

  7. Remove dust filter.
    note:

    Please carefully remove dust filter.

  8. Clean Dust Filter and restore it. If necessary, replace to the new dust filter.
  9. Install the front of cover.

2 Clean Dust Filter / Dust Filter Replacement

(For Simple OC with HP Z420)

Procedure

  1. Shutdown the system software and Lockout / Tagout the power to the GOC before beginning the replacement.
  2. Wear the static electricity prevention band to the wrist.
  3. Spread the static electricity prevention sheet for replacement
  4. Loosen the four screws that is fixing the bracket on the PC rear panel and take the bracket away.
    note:

    A seal might be attached at the PC rear panel which describes "Warranty void if this seal removed". Please do not care about description of the label and remove it for panel removal.

  5. Remove the Side cover by unscrewing the two screws and disconnect the ground cable.

  6. Remove dust filter.

  7. Clean Dust Filter and restore it. If necessary, replace to the new dust filter.
  8. Install the side cover.

3 Finalization

Procedure

  1. Restore the system.
  2. Turn the system power on. Verify system boot up without any problem.
  3. Perform one body or head scan.
