Tube Temperature Verification

Prerequisites

Overview

This procedure is used to check the tube temperature value.

This procedure is not for LB tube rotor control. If you want to control LB tube rotor status, check tube temp, please refer to Rotor Control Tool with LB tube - GUI or Rotor Control Tool with LB Tube - Command.

Procedure

  1. Click DAILY PREP.
  2. Click TUBE WARM-UP.
  3. Click ACCEPT & RUN TUBE WARMUP in Warning window.
    note: If Attention window is displayed, click OK.
  4. Click PAUSE in Scan list pane.
  5. Click CANCEL in Scan list pane.

    • Do not start X-ray exposures. Starting tube warm-up will result in additional tube cooling wait times.
  6. Click CURRENT MESSAGE from right monitor.
  7. Click VIEW LOG.
  8. Click LAST PAGE.
  9. Read the last entry of the following statement:

    Tube temperature after Cold Tube Warmup is xxx.xx degrees Celsius.

    or

    Tube Temperature after Quality Control Scan is xxx.xx degrees Celsius.

    where xxx.xx is the tube temperature value.

  10. Repeat steps 2 through 5 and steps 8 through 9, as necessary to generate updates.
  11. Click CLOSE in Message Log Report window.
  12. Click QUIT in Daily Preparation window.
