Overview

This procedure describes the Slipring Power Supply Assembly Replacement.

Procedure

Remove gantry covers as required.

Refer to Parts Replacement > Gantry > Enclosure > (Cover Removal Procedure).

Always turn OFF the HVDC before the 120 VAC. Turning OFF 120 VAC power before HVDC power can result in equipment damage.

Turn OFF all three (3) gantry service switches (Axial Drive, HVDC, 120VAC). Follow Lockout/Tagout procedures.
Using the hex socket, remove two (2) cap screws from the back side of supply located on the rear right fan assembly.
Remove safety plate.
Disconnect wiring.
Replace the slipring power supply assembly.

Finalization

Perform System Scanning Test (located in Functional Checks > System folder).
