AC Box Assembly (5412524) Replacement

Prerequisites

1 Removal Procedure

Procedure

  1. Select one of the following methods to Power OFF the Operator Console:
    1. If Applications are up, click on the Shut Down button and select Shutdown.

      The Operator Console monitor will display a 'Power Down' message when it is acceptable to power OFF the Operator Console.

    2. If Applications are down, open a Unix Shell. Type: halt.
  2. Power OFF the console at the front panel switch.

  3. Remove the top cover.

    Refer to Replacement > Console > (Console Cover Removal and Installation Procedure).

  4. Disconnect all cable connectors from the AC Box Assembly.

  5. Remove six screws from AC Box as below illustration, and remove the AC box assembly.

2 Installation Procedure

Procedure

  1. Install the new AC box assembly using 6 screws.
  2. Re-Connect all cable connectors to the AC box assembly.

3 Finalization

Re-Install the console cover.
