Gantry Tilt Zero Check

  1. Navigate to the Common Service Desktop.

  2. Click the Diagnostic tab.

  3. Click the System Troubleshooting Tool (near the bottom of the menu list). This launches the tool.

  4. Select the Subsystem screen.

  5. Select the Tilt tab.

  6. View the Tilt Angle section.

  7. At the gantry:

    1. Tilt the gantry to +10 degrees.

    2. Press both tilt buttons until the tilt stops at zero.

  8. At the console, view the Tilt Angle data section. The reading should be 0 ± 0.14.

  9. If the reading is not correct:

    1. Repeat Steps 1 - 8 one more time.

    2. If the reading still is not correct, adjust the Tilt Pot. (For procedures, see Gantry Tilt Pot Adjustment.)

  10. Record the results on the PM Report Form.
