How to add Body-Part Examined Tag (0018,0015) to Image Header
Prerequisites
Overview
This procedure describes the steps necessary to add Body-Part Examined Tag (0018,0015) information to Image Header
This feature is supported by the following software version:

Optima CT660 and Revolution EVO with 16HW45.x or later software.

Revolution EVO with 16HW14.9 SP3.0.
Procedure
- Open a Unix shell.
- Type: cd /usr/g/config/ ENTER
- Type: vi Dicom.cfg
- Find the following line in Dicom.cfg and move the cursor onto
“0” by arrow key.
fillBodyPartExamined = 0
- Press “S” key to become insert mode.
- Set "1" key to fillBodyPartExamined as shown below.
fillBodyPartExamined = 1
- Press ESC key to exit from insert mode.
- Type: :wq! <colon – w – q – Exclamation Mark> to save the file and exit vi editor.
- Restart the system.
Finalization
- Perform scan with Head protocol.
- Switch to ImageWorks desktop.
- Select exam/series/image that was taken at step 1 in List Select browser.
- Click the Image Header button from the tool menu.
- Confirm that the following DICOM tag is included in the header
information. (Use the search function (ctrl + F)).
