AC Box Assembly Replacement

FOLLOW ALL REQUIRED SAFETY AND PPE PROCEDURES CUSTOMARY FOR YOUR ORGANIZATION WHEN WORKING ON THIS PRODUCT.

Overview

Select one of the following methods to Power OFF the Operator Console:
1. If Applications are up, click on the Shut Down button and select Shutdown.
  
  The Operator Console monitor will display a 'Power Down' message when it is acceptable to power OFF the Operator Console.
2. If Applications are down, open a Unix Shell. Type: halt.
Power OFF the console at the front panel switch.

Remove the top cover.

Refer to Replacement > Console > (Console Cover Removal and Installation Procedure).
Disconnect all cable connectors from the AC Box Assembly.

Loosen two screw of the rear right cover, and open the rear right cover.

Disconnect all power cables and GND cables from the terminal.

Remove two screws, and remove the cable fix bracket from AC box assembly.

Remove four screws, and remove the AC box assembly with the power and GND cables.

Transfer the ICOM board from the removed AC box assembly to a new AC box assembly.

Install the new AC box assembly using 4 screws.
Re-Connect the power and GND cables to the terminal.
Attache the cable fix bracket to the AC box assembly using 2 screws.
Re-Connect all cable connectors to the AC box assembly.
