Merc40 Detector Known Issue
1 Overview
This document explains the information of Merc40 Detector known issue.
2 mA Ratio test sometimes fails at Module #1 (HCSDM00322982)
2.1 Affected product
Optima CT660 with Merc40 Detector with System software 13HW38.14 with Service Pack 2.1 or older.
2.2 Problem Description
Software 13HW38.14 for Optima CT660 (Cj M40) has an issue of mA ratio test in DAS Tools. The test may fail even if there is no issue on detector module.
2.3 Resolution
The test failure can be ignored if FastCal passed.
The issue has been fixed on 13HW38.14 SP2.2 software release.
3 Wrong module number in gesyslog
3.1 Affected product

Optima CT660 with Merc40 Detector with System software 13HW38.14 (or with any service pack).

Revolution EVO with System software 14HW17.4.
3.2 Problem Description
Detector Module# information on gesyslog shows wrong module # information. It’s correct on other Tools.
Because the module# calculation for gesyslog uses not module # but Chiclet #.
The following is example of gesyslog. The physical module# is 14 in this case.

S EXCLUSION CRITERIA *.
Example 1:
Module 27 (odd number) : add 1 then divided by 2
27 + 1 = 28 28 / 2 = 14 module
Example 2:
Module 34 (even number) : divided by 2.
34 divided by 2 34/2 = 17
3.3 Resolution
The issue has been fixed on 15HW13.7 software release.
