GTCN Replacement

Prerequisites

Overview

Procedure

  1. Raise the Table to maximum height.
  2. Move the Cradle and IMS to OUT limit position.
  3. Remove power from Table by turning off 120VAC, Axial Drive and HVDC switches on Service Switch Panel.
  4. Remove the Table Top Cover (Left).
  5. Cut any tie-wraps, and disconnect all cable connector from the GTCN Assy.
  6. Unscrew the screws, and remove the GTCN Assy.
  7. (For Global PET/CT Table, VT1700 and VT2000 Table) Install the new GTCN Assy into place, and tighten the 6 screws. One of the screws is used for Table type identification. Select the appropriate screw position depending on your Table type.

    (For VT2000X Table) Install the new GTCN Assy into place, and tighten the 7 screws. Two of the screws are used for identification of VT2000X Table at both Long and Middle location.

    note:

    Screws must tightened at both Long and Middle location for VT2000X Table.

  8. Re-connect all wires and cable connectors, and fix the cables using tie-wraps.

Finalization

  1. Re-install the Table covers.
  2. Power up the Table from the Service Switch Panel.
  3. Verify that the Cradle and IMS function is operating normally.
