Rotor Diagnostic Test

Overview

The purpose of this test is to drive the rotation inverter in high speed and low speed modes on the tube in order to identify a defective rotation board or a wrong connection between rotation board and tube.

  1. If desired, you may check any or all of the following:
    1. PPC kV control board alive and running: DS17-DS24 LEDs are lit successively or a combination of them blink
    2. Cabling between rotation board and tube checked
    3. Rotation board alive and running: DS5 LED blinking for rotation V2 (or DS4 LED blinking for rotation V3)
    4. Rotation board DC supply present: DS7 neon is lit
  2. Launch the GENERATOR TOOL from the DIAGNOSTICS tab in the Common Service Desktop.
  3. Launch the Rotor Diagnostic tool.
  4. Run the test. A rotor sequence will proceed.
  5. If a problem occurs, check the error log.
