gesyslog for LB Tube (VCT)

The following gesyslog messages have been added for VCT LB Tube system.

The gesyslog is categorized as “Information” or “Abort”. No. 1 to 3 are Information, No. 4 and 5 are Abort.

1 Tube type

When system started up, Tube type information is posted on gesyslog. The following is example of gesyslog message. If the system uses Hercules Tube, the tube type is “Ball Bearing tube” instead of “Liquid Bearing tube”.

2 SGB log

The SGB slope parameter is posted on gesyslog after approx. 10min. later from last rotor start timing. The following is example of gesyslog message.

3 Rotor start without Gantry rotation

LB Tube system requires Gantry rotation for rotor start basically, but some SV Tools require rotor start without Gantry rotation as exception. The following message is posted on gesyslog in this case.

Liquid Bearing tube rotor became high speed without the correct rotor management
rule.
A lot of this operation will cause short life of tube.

        

4 Abort of SV tool execution (Scan request with “rotor must rotate at high”)

When Gantry rotates faster than 2sec./rev., rotor must rotate at high speed in order to prevent fatal rotor damage. SV Tool is aborted by scan request with rotor stop, and the following message is posted on gesyslog.

Gantry rotation of faster than 2.0 sec/rot was requested although Liquid Bearing
tube rotor is not rotating.
Rejected the request because it will do fatal damage to the tube.

        

5 Abort of SV tool execution (Rotor is NOT high speed condition)

When Gantry rotates faster than 2sec./rev., rotor shall rotate at high speed in order to prevent rotor damage. SV Tool is aborted when rotor is NOT high speed, and the following message is posted on gesyslog. This error happens at Gantry Service Balance, Collimator Functional or Axial Functional tools..

Open command window and execute “rotor_ctrl –start” command
before the procedure execution.
