Home Position Switch Replacement

Procedure
- Raise the table to maximum height.
- Remove right Gantry Side Cover.

- Remove power from table by turning off 120VAC, Axial Drive and HVDC switches on Service Switch Panel.
- Remove the right Table Side Rail Covers and Cradle Drive Cover, to access the Cal Pin.
- Install and tighten the Cal pin to about one-half inch from the home
position, to hold the carriage in place.note:
Pay attention to the location of the wires on the defective switch, before you remove them. Restore the wires to their original configuration on the replacement switch.
- Disconnect the wires from the Home Position switch terminals.
- Remove the nut that fastens the switch in place.
- Remove the defective switch from its bracket.
- Install the replacement switch.
Make sure you connect the wires to the COM and N.O. terminals.
- Adjust the position of the switch bracket.
- Loosen the two nuts that fasten the bracket into place.
- Move the bracket until the switch actuates when the carriage reaches 0.50±0.03 inches from the home position.
- Return the Cal pin to its storage position.
- Return power back to the table and replace table and gantry covers.

- Power up the Table from the Service Switch Panel.
- Using the service switches on the MTCB, move the Table up and down, and the Cradle in and out.
- Use the gantry control keys to move the Table up and down, and the Cradle in and out.
- When the Table functions properly, reinstall the Table Base Covers, the Side Panels and the Gantry Side Cover.
