Remove any objects from scan window area which may interfere with the rotating gantry.

No personnel or patients should be in the area of the gantry while scanning without adequate radiation safety precautions being utilized.

Overview

This document provides necessary steps to detailed calibrate the system.

Procedure

Move table to longitudinal home position.
Click SCANNER UTILITIES.
Click COLLIMATOR CALIBRATION.
Click OK in Attention window.
Press START on SCIM when it flashes.
Click OK in Attention window.
Click QUIT in Scanner Utilities window.
