Procedure

  1. Remove the gantry top, and side covers. The top covers have three fans making the cover heavier. The top cover have a guide rail on each side to aid in cover removal. Refer to the cover removal procedures for more details.

    • Always turn OFF the HVDC before the gantry 208 VAC to prevent equipment damage.
  3. Turn off the Gantry HVDC switch and then the Gantry 208 VAC switch on the service panel.

    • use proper lockout/tagout procedures before servicing equipment.
  4. Power down system and tag and lockout power at the main power disconnects.
  5. Remove the PDU top and front covers.

    • Potential for equipment damage. Using vacuum hose near live electronic equipment may cause equipment damage due to static. Make sure equipment is turned off prior to vacuuming near electronic equipment.
  7. Vacuum any dust found on the covers and inside the PDU.
  8. Visually inspect the PDU electronic components for dis-colorization and arcing damage.
  9. Tighten all electrical connections for the primary power and sub-system power connections.
  10. Reinstall all removed covers.
  11. Turn the system power back on.
