 Procedure Effectivity:

1 Check MOV LED’s on the Control Board

Procedure

  1. Open top and remove front cover.
  2. Locate the PDU control board. Check the operation of the green LED’s, just above the MOV’s on the right bottom side of the control board. Normal operation is for the green LED’s to be on. A failure condition is indicated by any LED being "off". This indicates a blown fuse due to a MOV shortage.

2 Clean the Ventilation Holes at the Bottom of the Chassis

Procedure

    • High voltage present.
    • use proper lockout/tagout procedures before servicing equipment.
  1. Power down system and tag and lockout power at the main power disconnects.
  2. Open the top-cover and remove the front cover.
    note:

    There is no need to remove the protective Plexiglas™ cover.

    • Potential for equipment damage. Using vacuum hose near live electronic equipment may cause equipment damage due to static. Make sure equipment is turned off prior to vacuuming near electronic equipment.
  3. Vacuum any dust and dirt away from the air vent located near the bottom of the chassis.
  4. Replace the front cover and lock the top cover closed.
  5. Turn the system power back on.
