SSA Class M Hard Key Failure Due to USB Media in Use
1 Overview
SSA hardware key may NOT be recognized by CT when another USB media is already mounted to Console, this section listed the impact to some CSD service tools and solution.
2 Description
Generally only A1 level service tools are displayed in CSD if no Class M Key is plugged or no SSA software license file is installed. Please refer to Revolution Maxima/Ace, Optima CT680 Expert Service Software Tools Classification in Readme section.
For a system that a USB media is already mounted to Console USB port, plugging SSA ClassM hard key may lead to CT Console not able to recognize this SSA Class M Key, thus the following functions will fail:
- System State Save and Restore
- Error Logs -> store log
- Diagnostics > rhapSnap
- Recon Management --- Save
- Data Export --- USB
- Save ECG Traces
- Export Protocols
- Audit TooL
- Audit Log Viewer
3 Workaround and Solution
If it is necessary to use both SSA Class M hard key and another USB media simultaneously, SSA Class M hard key MUST be the first to be plugged into Console USB port, then Check Security to activate SSA Class M Hard Key before other USB media begin to use.
